Spring is an exciting time here at Shomaisou, with several litters progressing through key milestones and new pairings arriving. Below is an update on current and upcoming litters, as well as current availability.
Upcoming Litter: Picasso × Oami Alpha
Expected approximately April 19, 2026
We are expecting the Picasso × Oami Alpha Litter around April 19, 2026. This pairing continues our focus on strong breed type, sound structure, and stable, balanced temperaments. Picasso has continued to prove himself as an important producer, and we are looking forward to seeing how Oami complements him in this breeding.
As always, final placement decisions will be made only after structured evaluations at 8 weeks of age.
Upcoming Litter: Reign × Chupa Delta
We are also looking forward to the upcoming Reign × Chupa Delta Litter approximately May 1st. Reign is a well-established producer, and this pairing is expected to bring strong breed character, sound movement, and temperaments suitable for both show and companion homes.

Leaving Sunday, April 19, 2026, for Puppy Preschool in Michigan
The Picasso × Gift Alpha Litter will be departing this Sunday, April 19, for our Puppy Preschool program in Michigan. This stage of development is an important part of our puppy-raising program and includes expanded socialization, new environmental exposure, confidence-building activities, and early developmental work designed to help prepare each puppy for long-term success.
Reign × Journey Alpha Litter
Evaluated and Ready for Their Homes
The Reign × Journey Alpha Litter, which is co-owned in Michigan, has completed its evaluations and is now ready to go to its homes. We are very pleased with this litter and with the progress the puppies have made through the evaluation process.
