Welcoming the Kami × Bonnie “Bravo” Litter — February 2, 2026
by Rex Gaylord on 02/02/26
We’re pleased to announce the arrival of a repeat Kami × Bonnie breeding, born February 2, 2026. This pairing was repeated intentionally after the strength, balance, and temperament we observed in the first Alpha litter, and we’re very excited about what Bonnie has delivered this time.
Bonnie is doing beautifully and is, once again, an attentive and confident mother. The puppies are already demonstrating strong vitality, good bone, and calm, settled temperaments in these very early days.
Litter Breakdown
This litter consists of six puppies:
Four red males
One black and tan female
One sesame female
All puppies were born naturally and are thriving. Early observations suggest a high level of consistency across the litter, with good proportions and promising head structure developing evenly.
About the Pairing
Kami and Bonnie complement each other exceptionally well. Kami contributes strong structure, balance, and movement, while Bonnie brings excellent maternal instincts, a stable temperament, and classic Shiba Inu expression. Together, they continue to produce puppies that reflect our goals as preservation breeders: correct structure, sound temperament, and traditional Shiba Inu type.
Repeating this breeding was a deliberate decision based on what we value most in our program — predictability, consistency, and long-term quality rather than novelty.
What We’ll Be Watching
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be closely monitoring:
Temperament development and confidence
Structural balance as the puppies grow
Head type, ear set, and tail carriage
Overall movement and coordination
As always, final placement decisions will be made based on individual puppy evaluations, temperament assessments, and suitability for each home — not color alone.
Updates & Availability
We’ll share regular updates, photos, and developmental notes as the puppies mature. Those who have already been in touch regarding this pairing will be contacted directly as evaluations progress.
If you’re interested in learning more about this litter or our placement process, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
We’re very excited to watch this Bravo litter grow and to see how this repeat breeding continues to validate our confidence in Kami and Bonnie.
